How long does my photo credit last for?
Photo credits that are included in packages are only valid for
one year (365 days) from the date you are given your proofs and CD.
If you do not use the credits within those 12 months you will
forever forfeit all remaining credits. Remember, credits have NO
cash value.
Can friends and family order pictures from you?
Your online album provides an option for friends and family to
order prints for themselves. This could help save you some
headache.
Where is my online album?
How long do you keep my pictures on file for reorder?
Officially we don't archive your pictures once we give you your
DVD. That means that you are responsible for your own images once
they are given to you, and AIM Design Inc and Stephen Kiers are not
liable for any losses.
That said, in practice we will keep your pictures on file
forever (save fire, hard drive failure, flood or act of God
destroys our copies). Please do not rely on us though; keep your
copies protected!
Can I get ALL the pictures?
Yes, but we suggest against this. We go through all the pictures
and pick out the best of the duplicates for you. Going through
1000-3000 pictures can take over 2 hours at just four seconds a
picture.
Also, if you get all the pictures, there will be a surcharge to
color and density correct the additional pictures. Stephen
Kiers photography does not give out uneditted pictures for the sake
of quality and brand control. Please contact Stephen Kiers if
this is a service you would be interested in.
Can I get black & white photos?
Yes. Any picture can be made into beautiful black and white
prints. Our online ordering system can automativally show you a
preview of any images converted to black & white.
What other services can you provide?
Anything photography related can be arranged by myself.
Also AIM Design Inc can offer custom invitations, thank you
cards and personalized wedding websites with online RSVP systems
and more.
What is the different between the CD images I will receive and the prints I get/purchase?
The CD will include color and density corrected jpegs that are
useful for printing up to 8x10. Prints are fully edited pictures.
That means zits removed, backgrounds edited, colour effects and
more.
Digital manipulation however is not included. This
includes 'swapping heads', thinning people, double chin removal,
extreme airbrushing. Contact Stephen Kiers if you have specfic
questions.
Can you do canvas prints?
Yes. You pay per square inch printed, and is pre stretched and
mounted on 1/4" wood. Contact Stephen Kiers for detailed
pricing.
How long to Coffee Table albums take?
This question depends on a few variables.
Coffee Table albums are not started until the wedding season
(June-Oct) is finished; thus if your wedding is in June you will
wait longer than a wedding in October. Albums are then done
in the order of the weddings.*
Design time take approximately 2 weeks, and print is often
finished in 2-4 weeks.
*Weddings before June are put together before the wedding season
starts.
What are the Coffee Table albums like?
They are hard cover, acid free books of the highest quality. All
the pictures are actually printed on the pages in vivid crisp full
color.
Additional options are available, and can be explained upon
request.
Can I buy extra DVDs?
Yes. Extra photo DVDs are $5/DVD. Or you could duplicate it
yourself and save some money. :D
How long until I get my pictures?
Usual turn around time is 4-6 weeks. That is when you will get
your proof album and CD of jpgs. Prints are then provided as
ordered.
